First of all everyone should know that Jake is an extremely kind person. I enjoyed working with him from start to finish. He’s also the utmost professional and is a master at his trade. I moved into a new house and I didn’t like the fireplaces installed 20+ years ago. Jake replaced the chunky stone on the first fireplace. He brought samples to me and referred me to on line sites to view photos of the stone installed, it turned out great. The 2nd fireplace was not as complex. It had old granite squares I didn’t like. I shopped and picked out marble squares to replace. The colors were irregular as natural stone is, and Jake used his expertise to create a gorgeous design. I was blown away when I saw the completed work on fireplace #2. I will hire Jake again when I tackle an outside stone project. By that evening we had a full detailed description of all work, prep work, and clean up that would be done in a firm written estimate. No other mason did that. The work was done ahead of schedule.
